Tai Chi in the Park
Saturday, February 22, 2020, 10 AM
30 Mary Murray Dr, Charleston, SC 29403
We will meet near the main parking area close to the gazebo.
Lessons are free, this is an open practice from beginner to advanced.
After a brief warm-up, we can split into smaller groups for various forms (Mini-Compact Tai Chi, Sun Rehabilitation, Tai Chi Bang, Chen 18, Yang 32 Sword, and Yang 108). There will be extra bangs (sticks), but if you have one please bring it along.
Feel free to invite any friends that you'd like to introduce to Tai Chi. Most people attending are attending one or more classes, but don't worry if your neighbor/friend/co-worker doesn't have any experience. We have enough instructors to teach brand new beginners too!
Plan to be there and ready to go by 10 AM.
Again, these sessions are free of charge and meant to be a review and practice. Have fun!
The parking lot is between 11th and 10th Ave off of Mary Murray Drive. If you Google 'Holy Spokes Bike Rack, Hampton Park', that's the parking lot you're shooting for (see link below). When you're driving around Mary Murray Dr the entrance to parking is before you get to 11th Ave...if you go by 10th Ave you've gone too far. Unfortunately, you have to drive around the entire park again to get back to that parking lot entrance.
